What are Tree Pit Packs?
Trees are often planted within paving schemes, car parks and along pavements to provide shelter, shade, visual interest, a sanctuary for wildlife and they also soften the built environment. However, in order for the trees to survive in these hazardous environments, their roots need porous soil to breathe and to absorb water and nutrients.
Traditional paving may restrict water flowing into the roots, loose stones can be a trip hazard and litter can build up if using open metal grilles. Cleaning can also be problematic when using paving, metal grilles and loose stones.
Adbruf’s GeoPave resin bound surface is an ideal solution to all of the problems associated with existing open tree pit structures. We have therefore created a pack size especially for use on smaller areas which is perfect for tree pits.
SUDS Compliant
Why use GeoPave Tree Pit Packs?
Adbruf’s GeoPave Tree Pit Pack is a fully permeable bound surface layer that allows water to drain into the soil substrate and reach the roots of the tree without the need for watering tubes. GeoPave creates a hard wearing, natural finish that compliments any environment and leaves an easily cleaned surface.
GeoPave can also be used for driveways, pathways, pavements, flooring, patios, schools and showrooms. It is available in a standard pack size of 6.5kg or in the Tree Pit Pack size of 1.5kg. For more information regarding base build up or specifications contact the Adbruf team.
GeoPave has been developed as a SUDS compliant pervious system, designed to alleviate flash flooding.

Hi Robin
Thank you for your comment. I can only apologise for using your image without crediting you, I wasn’t aware it was one of your images. When I started at Adbruf I did try to sort out the Adbruf Photolibrary so that I knew whom had completed each job but it was quite difficult. So I do apologise and now credit you.
Thanks
Sarah
